We opened the activities on 1st October 2020 with the Eucharist presided over by the national director for the pontifical mission societies of Malawi. Within the first two weeks, our parishioners were undergoing faith instructions based on selected sodalities and their responsibilities in the church.
On 18 October the faithful came in large numbers to be part of the Mission Sunday celebration. It was led by the archbishop Tarcisius Ziyaye of the archdiocese of Lilongwe. It was a hot day as it is summer in Malawi and people didn’t mind sitting and dancing under the heat, they showed their happiness throughout the celebration.
