Retreat of Vietnamese Church Members
Hamburg’s Parish is committed and colorful
The Vietnamese parish members of the parish Seliger Johannes Prassek in Hamburg very much contribute to making parish life vivid and colorful. Another occasion to witness this was the Vietnamese retreat of the parish from October 4th to October 6th, 2019.
Priest Michael from Birmingham led the retreat. Priest Michael, the Vietnamese priest Paul Pham and the Pallottine Father, priest Hans-Joachim Winkens, celebrated the concluding service and the parade on Sunday.
In the course of the perpetual adoration on Sunday, the Vietnamese parish members even had a nightly adoration. Many youths and children together with the choir contributed to the festive composition of this Sunday which was also celebrated as Thanksgiving.
