Who we are...

We are the Formation Community of the German-speaking Pallottines (SAC).

Formation... This means that we find ourselves in the formation phase. Therefore, we are still studying.

Community... This means we lead a life in community. We live together because we do not want to be „Lonely Rangers“. Working together, living together, believing together is not our official motto, but describes well what community means.

German-speaking... Means we don't come only from Germany, rather from all countries in which German is spoken: Austria, Switzerland, Germany.

Pallottines... Who are the Pallottines? The Pallottines are a religious community within the Catholic Church. They were founded in Rome by St. Vincent Pallotti (1795-1850) in the first half of the 19th century. The word „Pallottine“ derived from Pallotti's name. We are officially called the Society of the Catholic Apostolate; in Latin, Societas Apostolatus Catholici (SAC). Today, the Society is represented on all continents, and numbers about 2,500 members. One of our principle tasks is to promote lay involvement in the Church.
